Sisterhood is the organization of the Women of Reform Judaism within our congregation who band together to benefit the temple. Sisterhood provides the opportunity for its members to grow in a Jewish atmosphere and to provide service to the congregation in many ways.
Some Sisterhood activities are monthly Mah Jongg evenings, a spa retreat weekend, holiday cooking workshops and running of the Judaica Shop. Sisterhood also provides numerous services to Kol Ami by funding the Oneg Shabbats, awarding college scholarships, sponsoring the Yom Kippur food drive and decorating the indoor Sukkah. Fund raising projects like the sale of Purim baskets and of Passover candy allow Sisterhood to provide financial support for educational programs in the pre-school and in the religious school as well as providing funds for the Makom Shel Or project.
Whether you have a little bit of time or a lot of time, become a member of Sisterhood, make new friends while working to better Kol Ami.
